2010 VIPERS LACROSSE Vipers Lacrosse is an instructional program which teachs the basics of lacrosse to beginning players with little or no experience. We will help you develop the skills needed to play the game, without having to invest in several hundred $ worth of equipment. We stress fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals! You will learn the proper way to pass, catch, scoop, and cradle the ball. We will also learn Offensive and Defensive techniques and concepts. Program Director Tommy Chancler brings 30 years of lacrosse experience working with Youth, High School, College, and International teams. Ages offered: Grades 5th-8th grade. League Dates: M and W, May
3rd - June 14th. League Times: 7/8 Grade 4:00-5:00, 5/6 Grade 5:30-6:30 Location: Niguel Hills MS Cost: $300 which includes a stick. (Space is limited to 20 players per age group) About Lacrosse: While there is no contact during these instructional sessions, it is important to note that Lacrosse is a contact sport. While you won't see the constant pounding of football, there are times when players experience body contact. If this is not part of your chemistry, this would not be the sport for you.
